By using Dugout Decisions you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.
A free fan-made game
Dugout Decisions is a free baseball strategy game made by a fan. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Major League Baseball, its clubs, its players or their associations. Team and player names are used only to identify the real historical games the scenarios are based on. No team logos are used.
Simulated results
Games start from real historical situations, but everything after your first decision is our simulation. Probabilities, ratings and manager grades are illustrative estimates for entertainment, not statistical or betting advice.
Your account
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- Choose a username that isn't offensive and doesn't impersonate anyone.
- Don't abuse the service: no automated sign-ups, attempts to access other players' data, interfering with the site, or flooding it with requests.
- We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Data sources
The information used here was obtained free of charge from and is copyrighted by Retrosheet. Interested parties may contact Retrosheet at "www.retrosheet.org".
Managers' records and players' season statistics are compiled by us from Retrosheet's game logs and play-by-play files (manager records through the 2025 season). Player ratings are not published by Retrosheet: they are our own illustrative estimates, calculated with our own formulas from those statistics.
No warranty
The game is provided free, "as is", without warranties of any kind. It may change, have errors or be unavailable at times, and saved progress could be lost. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any damages arising from your use of the game.
